Rings

Anouschka pulls out a Gold Red thread and magically turns it into anything: a ring, an earring, a necklace or a bracelet. She finds gemstones and knows exactly what kind of earrings they should be. Or when she visits and ancient French castle, she translates the ambience of the castle in a ring. Antique and abandoned earrings found on the street, are given a second life by molding it into a new shape.
‘Working with these materials gives me a special feeling as if I’m part of their history. Once I found fragile sea shells in Antwerp. While I was turning them into necklaces, it felt as if I was in Cadaquès, living by the sea where there light is still bright and make bonfires every night.”
